Other veggie things I can think of are frozen ready-made Italian fairs such as pasta, lasagna, calzone, etc.. I've not tried them, but I have no doubt that they would be good. Their food got a big two-thumbs up from me! The owner is an Italian American. I don't know which region in Italy he is from, but his English is very good. It looks like his American-born son runs the store most of the time now. It was neat to see some of the pictures on the wall. One of them shows a young version of him walking off a PanAm flight, suitcase in hand and smiling, which I thought was pretty neat. His store also carries a newspaper for Chicago area Italian-Americans, published in English. I don’t think I’ve seen veggie sandwiches on their menu, but they certainly would fix one upon request.
